Alia Bhatt’s first look as Gangubai Kathiawadi in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming venture titled Gangubai Kathiawadi took the internet by storm. Being one of the much-anticipated movies of Alia’s career ever since Inshallah got shelved, the film has got everyone excited and fans have waited eagerly to catch one glimpse of the actress who is set to surprise everyone with her never-before-seen avatar. After Alia Bhatt fans gushing over her first look, the actress’s colleagues just can’t keep calm and are going gaga over her first look which has left them impressed.
Ranveer Singh commenting on his Gully Boy Co-star Alia look’s wrote, “Here she is indeed Lulu the Gangster come onnn” Followed by Deepika who wrote, “LOVE!”, Anushka Sharma lauded Alia's look and wrote, “Way to go girl”. The actress’ friend Akanksha Ranjan left several comments on her post going gaga over her bestie. To create excitement online the actress had shared a motion poster of the movie, which just showcased the movie name appearing, with the caption, “Here she is, Gangubai Kathiawadi”. The posters have Alia in intriguing avatars; dressed in a blue blouse and pleated skirt with hair combed and tied in plaits, being lost in her thoughts. Also, that bindi on her forehead is not to be missed. In yet another poster, makers have shared a close up of hers. What looks like a grown-up avatar, she is captured looking fiercely into the lens; sporting a choker necklace, little mark on her cheek, nose pin, earring and big red bindi.
